The summer heat has finally set in, accompanied by very high humidity. This combination requires very careful management of watering. Our team has therefore devoted a great deal of time to manual watering to ensure we provide only the necessary amount of water. This approach allows us to avoid excess moisture, which could lead to the development of diseases on the playing surfaces.
Le Maître Course
We have continued to improve our playing surfaces through seeding and the installation of sod in various areas. However, a few satellites in the irrigation system were damaged as a result of the thunderstorms. Unfortunately, moisture and lightning do not mix well with electronic equipment! The issues have been diagnosed, and repairs are underway.
Work to improve the approach areas and around the greens has been temporarily paused this week to prioritize watering needs.
La Bête Course
Good news! Paving work on the path at hole No. 9 is now complete. Starting this weekend, this par-5 hole will once again be accessible via its usual route.
Sod installation has also continued in order to repair damaged areas and improve the overall quality of the course.
A Quick Reminder
We ask that you continue to repair your ball marks on the greens as well as your divots on the fairways and tees. Every small effort helps maintain exceptional playing conditions for all golfers.
We also ask that you apply insect repellent only on the paths or paved areas, and not on the grass. Some products can cause significant damage to the grass.
