15 MAY 2026

The past week has been particularly busy for our entire team. We’ve put a lot of pressure on ourselves to prepare both of our courses in the best possible condition – despite the wet and cool weather we have been getting.

In addition to our daily maintenance work, we’ve also managed to complete several major and very interesting projects, though they were physically and mentally demanding. Despite the challenges, we are proud of the work accomplished and the improvements already visible on the course.

Sod Installation

We have begun the first phase of installing bentgrass sod on the fairways damaged by grubs. This work will continue week by week, either through seeding or by installing new sod depending on the area.

Additionally, as we were not satisfied with the condition of the green on hole 5 at Le Maître, we decided to redo the weaker sections and take the opportunity to rework certain slopes to improve the quality and playability of this surface.

New Pump Station – Parcours de la Bête

At  la Bête, we have begun installing the new irrigation pump station. This major project required dismantling the front wall of the building to remove the old system and install the new one.

One crane, tremendous effort from the team, and a great deal of ingenuity were required to complete this operation. I would also like to highlight the excellent work of the entire team during this important phase.

Please note that the on-course washrooms will be closed for a few days, as they are supplied by our irrigation system. However, everything should be back up and running very soon.

Bridge at Hole 9 – Parcours de la Bête

As if the week wasn’t already busy enough, the bridge at Hole 9 sustained significant damage following the river’s flooding. The water severely weakened the concrete foundation and completely washed away part of the structure.

Major repairs will need to be carried out in the coming days to ensure the safety of this crossing. The situation is further complicated by the fact that a main water supply pipe also runs under the bridge.

I will keep you informed of the progress of the work. In the meantime, the hole will be temporarily converted into a par 3 to allow play to continue safely.

This week has been intense, demanding, and full of unexpected challenges. Despite everything, I see these challenges as opportunities for improvement rather than as negative setbacks. These trials and tasks can only make us stronger, more effective, and the courses better prepared for the rest of the season.

The entire team is working passionately to provide playing conditions that meet your expectations, and we sincerely thank you for your understanding and support at the start of the season.

I would also like to take this opportunity to wish all our members an excellent start to the 2026 golf season.
