At last, the heat wave of recent weeks is over. We're within seasonal norms, and this temperature is helping our turf. Less stress, less pressure, less disease and, of course, less worry for the superintendent.
Small improvement projects have been made at Le Maitre, starting with the reception structure at the driving range. A very nice addition. A drinking fountain has also been installed on the side of the tennis courts to refresh you after your game.
At La Bête, we've started to remove the stumps that remind us of the derecho of 2022. A bad memory that reminds us that nature often has the last word.
Mid-season friendly reminder
Don't forget to repair your ball marks and fill your divots left on the tees and fairways. The course will be all the better for it.
