There are always a couple punch lines to a golf score question like this one and my usual favourites are:
Make sure you miss your 37th shot.
Pick up after the 7th hole.
But in the case of Rosemere Member Jean-Claude Lauzon, the answer is a little more impressive, but still simple – blow out 87 candles on your birthday cake and make birdie on 9.
Now, it wasn’t his actual birthday but the fact that 87 year old JC Lauzon carded a 38 on the front at Rosemere is remarkable and a story we want to share.
They say golf is a game for a lifetime – JC is proving that to be true, and we should all applaud his achievement.
