Matchplays
The matchplay season is underway, and we remind you that the deadline for 1st round matches is June 29.
NO EXTENSIONS WILL BE GRANTED - see procedure in the match portal if you do not play your match before the deadline.
If you're playing a singles match, you don't need to have the scorecard prepared in advance, just open your Golf Canada application with your opponent, choose the Le Maître course and click on Course Handicap. You'll be able to compare your handicaps according to the tee blocks played, and adjust the difference in strokes on the most difficult holes on the scorecard.
Don't forget that you have to keep your Golf Canada index up to date if you want to take part in the club's matchplay events.

Handicap Committee
I hope your golf season is going well and that the beautiful weather is here to stay.
Just a reminder, it's important to publish every round in Golf Canada even if you're not planning to play competitively; we don't know what the future holds. A golfer's handicap is a tool that allows us to play or compete with any other golfer. Who doesn't like to see an improvement in their game with a dropping handicap?
