Ladies closing tournament
The Ladies' Solheim, a Ryder Cup-style tournament, took place on Sunday September 22nd, with Chantal Gendron's red team in a 6-6-6 matchplay against Kim Cosgrove's blue team. The reds proved too strong, winning the competition by a score of 38-22, but all the ladies enjoyed a wonderful day at Le Maître in this friendly competition!
Men's closing tournament
Last Sunday saw the Ryder Cup men's closing tournament, with captain Michel Sicotte's team (blues) taking on the reds of Gerry Benard/Sean Miller (assistant captains).With a spectacular finish in front of all the players from both teams on the patio, it was René Bergeron who holed a 9-foot putt for birdie on the 18th hole with partner Erik Laframboise to defeat the Cliff Goodman-M-A Girard duo and give the reds victory!
RBC Scramble
Congratulations to the team of Kim Cosgrove, Diana Harvey, Emma Harvie (Greyhawk) and Andrea Sim (Kanata) who finished 4th in the RBC Scramble provincial final on September 9 at the Cowansville Golf Club.
