Turf
23 OCT 2026
Both courses are now officially closed for the season.
We were treated to a wonderful stretch of nice weather to wrap up the season. While this week’s conditions would have been ideal for one last round of golf, they were also perfect for allowing us to continue and complete several important tasks in preparation for the winter closure.
This week, our team continued our closing tasks:
- Final mowing of the bentgrass areas: We performed a final mowing to prepare the areas for winter and promote a smooth transition into next spring.

- Aeration of the tees at Le Maître: We performed core aeration to improve air exchange in the soil, reduce compaction, and promote turf health.

- Vertidrain at La Bête: The Vertidrain work is now complete. This process deeply loosens the soil and improves water infiltration, thereby contributing to better growing conditions for the upcoming season.

- Leaf and debris cleanup: We continued cleaning the playing surfaces to limit the buildup of organic matter and leave the fields in the best possible condition for winter.
Preparing for Winter Closure
Starting next week, we will begin our fall winter protection treatments, depending on weather conditions and appropriate application windows. These treatments are an important step in protecting the turf during dormancy and promoting optimal regrowth in the spring.
The countdown has now begun before the facilities close completely for the winter. Until then, our team will continue with the final maintenance tasks, all with the same goal in mind: to prepare high-quality playing surfaces so we can welcome you back next spring.
