Turf

09 OCT 2026

Fall maintenance work is continuing on both of our courses, and the weather conditions over the past few days have allowed us to make good progress despite the rain.

At La Bête, we took advantage of a break between two rainy days to begin aerating the first tees. This work will continue over the next week so that we can gradually complete all sections.

At Le Maître, we are currently finishing up the aeration of the fairways. We have also nearly completed the cleanup of debris generated by these projects as well as by dethatching. These operations have removed a significant amount of organic matter from the course, which is very beneficial for the quality of the turf but also generates a large amount of material to be collected.

To minimize disruption to players, we focused on the center of the fairways during certain tasks. However, in areas with taller grass, the amount of material and debris left behind by these operations was much greater. Over the past few days, our team has therefore made cleaning these areas a priority to restore surfaces that are cleaner and more enjoyable to play on.

We appreciate your understanding and patience during this period of maintenance work. These measures are essential to promote the health of the turf and properly prepare the courses for the upcoming season.

Finally, the irrigation system is currently being flushed at Le Maître. Work will continue at La Bête next week, as we gradually shut down the systems for the winter.

Thank you for your cooperation, and we wish you all a great end to the season!
