Fall Operations Are Well Underway
The fall operations planned for this week on both courses are now well underway. The window for fall work is relatively short before the arrival of colder temperatures and snow. Fortunately, the beautiful sunny days have been very helpful and are allowing us to make good progress with these important operations.
Fairway Aeration at Le Maître
The good weather has been very beneficial for the aeration of the fairways at Le Maître. Drier soil conditions make it much easier for our equipment to perform the work, as well as for our team to break down and clean up the cores extracted by the machines.
If temperatures and conditions continue to be favorable, we expect to complete the fairway aeration over the next ten days.
At the same time, we are also working on dethatching the fairways. These two operations are important components of our thatch management program and will help improve growing conditions for the turf going into next season.

Tee Preparation
As you may have noticed, we have started removing turf from selected tees. We will then add topsoil to correct and level the surfaces before re-sodding them beginning next week.
We will continue this process on several tees over the coming weeks, as long as weather conditions allow us to do so effectively.
The tee markers have temporarily been moved to allow these projects to be completed.
