Cultural practices are well under way for the rest of the season. After finalizing the aeration of the greens at La Bête, we'll start on those at Le Maître. The same aeration strategy as last week at La Bête. Maximum core removal but with much smaller holes than usual. We’ll complete the process again with the addition of soil, sand and seed. The work will be carried out on Tuesday June 18 and Wednesday June 19, weather permitting.
We won't stop there with our practices. Vertical mowing of fairway and tees will also be on the agenda to enhance our bentgrass surfaces. I often talk to you about the benefits of these practices, these are not always immediately visible. The cumulative effect of several small actions generally results in very good outcomes. We must have a little patience and trust the process.
This week, we've added some soil at the practice area to repair and enlarge the surface for practicing your short game. Repairs to the bridge at #11 have begun and we'll be renovating several parts. This process will take a few weeks.
