At last, we've been able to recover our two courses held hostage by la rivière de diable. No, I won't go on and on about the situation. I think you've seen enough of the communication and photos following the torrential rain and the major overflow of this watercourse, which deprived you of golf for almost five days. We've done our utmost to ensure the best possible conditions as soon as the course reopens. I'd have liked to give you your course more quickly, but the river had the last word.

We didn't let up during the closure. Pumping water out of the bunkers and removing contaminants kept us busy. We also took the opportunity to do some vertical mowing on the bentgrass areas and overseeded some tees. The water washed up a lot of debris from the river. A big thank you to my two maintenance crews for all their hard work. They worked diligently and they all wanted to give you back the courses as we left them last Thursday.

Many thanks for your encouragement and understanding.
