Turf

28 JUN 2024

It's already been over a week since we aerated Le Maître’s greens. Recovery is going well and we can see the little shoots of our new bentgrass showing their noses. The speed of the greens should soon stabilize. Despite the torrential rain at the end of the week, the courses absorbed the blow well. A small overflow of the river forced us to change the trajectory of the cart path at La Bête. The traps were washed out and a lot of sand had to be hauled up. Despite more than 110 millimeters of rain, the hydroseeding at La Bête held up well.

Good news: the young special projects team at Le Maître made their debut on Tuesday. Their main task will be to improve the bunkers by removing debris/stones, cutting contours, improving drainage and adding sand. There will also be several small jobs to support the morning turf crew.
