USGA on the situation facing some of us golfers this spring

The origins of what has become a pop culture/proverb can be traced to Sophocles in 408 B.C.

It’s a simple narrative common to us all and it’s most widely known application is Misery Loves Company.

Might not be our proudest instinct but it is true and we all know it. I feel a bit better about my misfortune now that I know you share it as well.

So, it is in this spirit that we can enjoy the following article from the USGA on the situation facing some of us golfers this spring. They highlight New York, New England, Ontario and Quebec as the spots hit hard with turf damage this spring. So, if we are all done complaining directly to Mother Nature, let’s just take some solace in the comfort we can claim from sharing this with others.
