ClubLink Course Opening Announcement

26 MAR 2021

Welcome to the 2021 Golf Season

The exceptionally mild weather trend has enabled a much earlier start for many more courses than usual, which is a welcomed scenario given the expected demand for golf. We are excited to announce plans to open 19 Clubs in the GTA by Easter Weekend (weather permitting).

Our managers and staff have been preparing to provide Members and guests with a season full of enjoyable experiences, while being responsible from a health and safety perspective. Please take a moment to review our most up to date version of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) before visiting any Club location for the first time. The updated SOP will be available on Club websites early next week.

Out of an abundance of caution given the current circumstances with COVID-19, and to allow Members, guests and staff to get reacquainted with all the safety precautions, we plan to keep our operations very simple in the early stages of the season. Minimizing the opportunities for golfers and staff to gather in common areas will be key to staying safe. As the weather improves and as COVID-19 conditions allow, we intend to ease our way back into more normal operations. In the meantime, access to certain amenities and services will be very limited.

Our golf courses have wintered well. However, in this initial phase of the golf season, early spring conditions will be in effect. Certain areas of turf at some locations may be out of play to ensure optimal conditions for the rest of the season.

Practice facilities will be open where conditions allow.

Golf carts are available but some restrictions may apply at certain locations.

Hospitality services will be very limited. Bistros and patios will not be open in this early phase of opening.

On course washrooms and water filling stations may not be in service at certain locations.

It is best to contact the local Club if you have questions about the amenities and services available.

Weather permitting, the following Clubs will open on Saturday, April 3:

  • The Club at Bond Head
  • Bethesda Grange and Rolling Hills Challenge and Classic
  • Blue Springs Golf Club
  • Caledon Woods Golf Club
  • Cherry Downs Golf Club
  • The Country Club
  • DiamondBack Golf Club
  • Emerald Hills Golf Club
  • Georgetown Golf Club
  • Glen Abbey Golf Club
  • Glencairn Golf Club
  • Glendale Golf and Country Club
  • Greystone Golf Club
  • Heron Point Golf Links
  • Hidden Lake Golf Club
  • King’s Riding Golf Club
  • RattleSnake Point Golf Club
  • Station Creek Golf Club
  • Wyndance Golf Club

We will update our list of expected Club opening dates periodically over the next several weeks. Course conditions and weather patterns will inform these decisions.

Booking Tee Times

LinkLine OnLine and LinkLine call center will open Monday, March 29 for five-day advanced tee time reservations. As a reminder, the chart below illustrates the staggered opening time of the reservation system based upon your Club-level.

Preparation for Using the System

We recommend that you take a moment before the season opens to make sure your Member website login credentials are working. If you are the primary reserver for yourself and your fellow Members for prime time bookings, we recommend that you update your friends list to ensure an optimal booking experience. If you require assistance with your account, please contact us a memberservices@clublink.ca or at 1-800-273-5113.

It’s truly exciting to welcome you back to our Clubs. We are grateful to be opening early, and we appreciate your ongoing cooperation and support. The familiar faces of our friendly staff, and the strong community of Members at each Club will make for an enjoyable experience.

Let’s all work together to enjoy a safe return to our Clubs and the sport we love.

Sincerely,

John Finlayson
