This week, we aerated the tees on the La Bête course. The aerator cores also allowed us to level certain slopes on the fairways. With a little seeding and watering, these measures will help improve the bare patches.
On the Le Maître course, aeration of the fairways continues. We have also begun vertical mowing on the tees to reduce thatch buildup. We are taking advantage of this opportunity to seed and thus strengthen the density of the turf.
It is also the return of the white grub season. Despite treatments carried out on most surfaces, a few areas have still been affected. Crows and skunks are currently feasting on them, causing some damage. Our teams are cleaning the surfaces daily, and these areas will be closely monitored over the next few years.
