Turf
08 AUG 2025
A new heat wave is forecasted for the coming days. The irrigation system will therefore once again be in heavy use. It will be normal to see sprinklers in operation and our employees at work with hoses for manual watering, particularly in the most sensitive areas.
The turf installed last week passed its first test. It is not yet fully rooted, but progress is positive. The green on hole #5 is also developing very well. We ask that you avoid walking or driving on the turfed areas so as not compromise their recovery.
Traffic instructions during hot weather
In order to preserve the quality of the turf, we ask that you:
- Drive on the designated paths as much as possible
- Cross the fairways at a 90-degree angle only to reach your ball
- Avoid prolonged stops or sharp turns on the turf
The heat from tires combined with excessive compaction can seriously damage the turf, which is already weakened by extreme conditions.
Thank you for your valuable cooperation in maintaining the quality of our course, even during these periods of climatic stress.
