Turf
01 AUG 2025
Here is the latest news regarding maintenance and improvements made to our courses this week:
Laying turf: Repairing areas affected by heat
The recent heat waves caused some damage again to certain sensitive areas of the Le Maitre course. We have begun laying turf in the most affected areas in order to quickly restore the quality of play and visual appearance.
Part of green #5 has been repaired using this process.
To help in the recovery of these areas please avoid walking and driving on freshly placed sod.
Le Maitre waterfall project: The final phase is well underway
The waterfall project is nearing completion.
The pump is now installed on site, and the underground connections are being checked to ensure optimal and sustainable operation of the system.
Aeration of the greens on both courses
We have aerated the greens with solid rods on both courses. This essential work allows air and water to circulate better in the soil, which is particularly important following the extreme heat of recent days. This intervention will promote healthier roots and more vigorous grass growth without disrupting your game.
Sand bunker: Additions to holes #10 and #13
Sand has been added to the bunker on holes #10 and #13. This improvement is intended to maintain the playability and uniformity of the playing surfaces in the sand bunker.
Thank you all for your continued understanding and support during these maintenance tasks. These efforts are aimed at improving playing conditions, and to move closer to the optimal course experience we strive to offer day after day.
See you soon on the course!
