04 OCT 2024
We're in the final stretch of the season. October has already arrived, and our fall practices are well under way. The fairways at Le Maître are now fully aerated. The window for completing all our goals is getting smaller as time goes by, but they are very achievable. In the meantime, here are some of the tasks we still must complete in preparation for winter.
- Aeration of the tees at Le Maître
- Aeration of fairways at La Bête
- Laying sod around trap #5 at Le Maître
- Cutting fescue and wild areas in the field
- Disease-clearing fungicide on greens
- Bleeding irrigation systems
Regarding the evolution of fairway #16 at le Maître. I think I've won my bet with the seeding of its water-damaged areas in August. The seed has already germinated and is taking up a lot of space for only 10 days of planting. The temperature has been ideal for us. Please respect the roped-off areas, do not play with or trample this area, as this will increase our chances of success.
