The application to counter grubs was made this week. The temperature was perfect, as the product must penetrate the soil. This week's rain helped to place the product in the right place without having to use water from the irrigation system.

The sod placed a few days ago is well established and the roots are already starting to grow deeper. We never stopped watering by hand to keep the substrate moist. An important element if we were to be successful.

Our young special project team was busy pruning and cutting the shrubs that were blocking the view to the fairway #8. It's a tough job when you can't see the target or your ball land. This was problematic for the blue and gold tee.

The aeration with solid tines was carried out at La Bête and next week will be Le Maître’s turn. This practice is not detrimental to the game and is not apparent. It helps water to penetrate the green and leaves small air pockets.

Maintenance to come:

  • Aeration of greens with solid tines (Le Maitre)
  • Bunker work on greenside #5 (Le Maitre)
  • Fertilization
