Aeration of the greens was successfully completed. We were able to take advantage of the fine weather to apply tons of sand. A 1⁄4-inch sample was taken before topsoil. A light brushing, rolling and seeding to finalize operations.
I always top up my cultural practices with a little seed to reinforce our surfaces. I create space to plant seed. The new bentgrass cultivars perform much better. They're more resistant to disease, drought and even winter. A strategy that pays off in the long term.
